The position oversees the Community Living and Community and Family Services Programs. It supervises the CL Assistant Program Directors, the CL Clerical Assistant, and the CFS Program Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Motivate, communicate, and provide ongoing support to Community Livings Assistant Program Directors, Clerical Assistant, and Community and Family Services Program Manager to ensure positive outcomes and sustain quality care of individuals.
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the Community Living and Community and Family Services Programs.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of CL Assistant Program Directors, Clerical Assistant, and CFS Program Manager.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable DMH/CMRO, CARF standards, DOL regulations, and ACT policies/procedures.
- Assimilate and complete reports and provide to the Executive Director, Board of Directors, etc.
- Promote the growth and development of programs, seeking and evaluating new referrals for participation.
- Visit each residence at least once bi-annually to ensure quality care is being provided.
- Maintain ongoing professional communication and attend all required meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain monthly variance reporting documentation for Community Living and assist in maintaining program fiscal integrity.
- Ensure completion of bi-annual outcome reports.
- Assist in monitoring the training needs of individuals and staff.
- Oversee the completion of Event Reporting per DMH guidelines and complete direct entry of events as needed.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide consultation and direction in the development & management of individual consumer programs.
2. Attend conferences at the direction of the Executive Director.
3. Maintain communication with various stakeholders, including funding sources and consumers families.
4. Maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, NCI, Medication Administration, Abuse/Neglect Prevention, Positive Behavior Support, HIPAA, HCBS, and any others required by the agency or supervisor. Accept responsibility for completing the in-service prior to the expiration date.
5. Provide on-call coverage.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- Excellent communication, written, and organization skills.
- Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, Station MD, Paylocity, and Therap.
- Ability to supervise, coach, and train.
- Proficient in making decisions independently in accordance with program and agency standards.
Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- B.S. or B.A. in a related field and/or 3 years of experience with individuals with DD.
- Training and experience in the management of a nonprofit organization.
- Supervisory experience required.
Weight Lifting (or other physical) Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, stoop, or perform other physical duties, as Community Living functions require.
- Ability to sit for significant periods of time.
- Ability to stand or walk at a quick pace for several hours at a time.
Licensing or Other Special Certifications Required:
1. Class E Missouri Drivers license and proof of car insurance.
2. Successful completion of criminal history background check, drug screen and physical.
3. Qualified as a Degreed Professional Manager.
