What are the responsibilities and job description for the Firmware Test Engineer position at IMPACT Technology Recruiting?
Our client, located in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Firmware Test Engineer on a Contract to hire basis.
Note :
3 days onsite per week in Phoenix, AZ
6-12 month contract to role
Open to W2 only
Required / Desired Skills
2-3 years of QT Framework testing experience
At least 2 years of previous experience of playing at least a significant part in establishing and running an automated test environment to test firmware on embedded systems.
The person in this position will be the "quality gatekeeper" of our embedded software releases to our customers.
This position will require solid knowledge of automated test tools and methods, basic knowledge of git, C , python, bash scripting, logic probes and oscilloscopes.
Bonus points for applicants with enough skills to also help debug firmware problems found.
Must have good process knowledge and documentation experience
