Front Office Support

Assist the front office staff in calling families, answering incoming phone calls, communicating with families arriving for therapy and/or school, and completing other assigned duties as they pertain to front office assistance. The ideal candidate is energetic and collaborative, and a highly organized individual who strives for great customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient health information
- Provide high-level patient-centered customer service
- Verify health insurance eligibility
- Verify patient demographic information
- Communicate with physician offices regarding outstanding plans of cares
- Reschedule and cancel therapy appointments as needed
- Maintain accurate global records and data
- Checking in patients upon arrival when assisting in front office
- Collecting payment for services for therapy and/or school
- Answer incoming phone calls and forward messages to appropriate party/department
- File medical records accordingly
- Closing the office
- Other duties as assigned, including cross-training of medical receptionist positions
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience in medical office setting
- Ability to communicate calmly and clearly with patients and others on the phone
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including multi-line telephone, computer, copy machine, fax machine, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Quick Books
- High School diploma or GED

Pay
- $13-$15/hour
Level 2 background check and drug testing required.
