A qualified applicant MUST have:
- Experience in training, teaching, or directing adults, children and/or interested in learning to interact with those with special needs
- A high level of verbal and written communication ability
- Strong interpersonal skills with children and/or adults
- Strong organizational skills and motivation to continually improve oneself
- Strong aptitude for learning
- Self-starter, self-motivated learner
- A high school diploma
Being a Certified Optometric Vision Therapist (COVT) is beneficial, but not required.

As a vision therapist, you will be working with our patients to improve their visual function and quality of life. Therapy is performed on a one-on-one basis and you get to experience the change in the patient's life as they progress through the therapy process.
During therapy you will work with patients that have been diagnosed with:
- Amblyopia (Lazy Eye)
- Strabismus (Eye Turn)
- Learning Related Vision Problems (Tracking, Focusing, and Convergence Disorders)
- Other problems such as Traumatic/Acquired Brain Injuries, Special Needs, ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia and many other problems.
We will train! Hired applicant will participate in a comprehensive training program.
COVT Certification, Medical and/or optometry background not required but beneficial.
The position is full-time. Must be willing to work at the Castle Pines office one day per week minimum. Must be available as early as 7:30 am and as late as 6:00 pm depending on scheduling needs. Once the schedule for patients is set, the schedule typically remains constant week to week.
