Job Responsibilities
- Manage the HR functions for assigned clients
- Partner with field operations team members to be a resource for information for all client locations
- Communicate effectively with internal support departments to assure consistency
- Manage client employee relations investigations, providing support, documentation, and guidance to Operations Managers
- Manage the Unemployment Insurance Claims process
- Create, maintain and update client Employee Handbooks as needed
- Ensure compliance with all labor regulations
- Coaching/Counseling and Mentoring
- New Employee Onboarding/Orientation
Background
- College degree or equivalent relevant experience
- HR Certification (HRCI, PHR) preferred
- Working knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Prior HR experience (2-4 yrs.) to include employee relations
- Solid understanding of FMLA and Workers Compensation
- Working knowledge of HRIS/ATS/VMS systems
