We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to join our team and expand our staffing presence in the Georgia territory. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy, leading a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the market, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and enhancing the overall sales performance of an organization.
To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional customer service skills, be analytical and detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills, and be able to work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborating with the President & CEO, the role will design, implement, and support sales strategies, plans, and procedures.
- Participate in the expansion of business activities by identifying new market opportunities and developing plans to penetrate those markets.
- Ensure strategic objectives are translated into tactical business plans with mechanisms for key measurements in place to monitor progress.
- Manage relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Direct and manage sales activities.
- Hire, manage, develop, and mentor sales Directors, Managers, and Representatives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track sales performance.
- Assist with complex sales negotiations, attend sales presentations, and help close deals.
- Directly manage very large, high-profile customer accounts, as appropriate.
- Help develop sales proposals and responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Work in conjunction with CCO on deal structure, proposals, and pricing quotes.
- Develop, document, and enforce sales policies, standard operating procedures (SOP), and best practices, and also streamline sales processes.
- Serve on external committees where appropriate to expand the company footprint and business activities / opportunities.
