Job Summary
The Director of Finance is responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance and administration functions for the global organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned. The duties and responsibilities as outlined in this Job Description may be changed from time to time by the Corporation, as it deems necessary, without further notice to the Employee.
Directs the controller(s) in providing procedures and guidance with computer application systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services.
Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
Reviews contracts with clients and vendors to ensure protection of company assets and adherence with proper risk management.
Responsible for corporate risk management, annual insurance program renewals.
Provides status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Ensures accurate and timely month-end closures and analysis, reporting findings to the Chief Financial Officer
Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate
Ensures that the Company's processes are compliant with regulatory laws and rules in the jurisdictions in which the company operates
Prepares financial working papers for audit purposes and oversees the preparation and submission of the annual financial report
Analyzes, consolidates, and directs all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports.
Analyzes operational issues impacting functional groups and the whole institution, and determines their financial impact.
Establishes and maintains contacts with stockholders, financial institutions, and the investment community.
Assist the Chief Financial Officer with financial reporting as required
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages Controllers and Sourcing Specialist who supervise a total of 12-15 employees in the Administration Department. Is responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field; or eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA preferred.
Five or more years’ experience in a management capacity, within related field.
