This role involves working on various heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The HVAC Technician will play a crucial role in providing high-quality service to our clients while maintaining a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems, including heating units, air conditioning systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, providing effective solutions to restore functionality.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs as needed.
- Execute appliance repair tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Weld components as necessary for repairs or installations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding system operations, maintenance needs, and repair options.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the field.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Ability to maintain and plumb various HVAC components effectively.
- Proficiency in appliance repair related to heating and cooling systems.
- Mechanical aptitude with skills in building and repairing equipment as necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license is preferred for travel to job sites.
