SUMMARY
The Director, Solution Delivery and Support will oversee the delivery and support of technical solutions across Application Development, Data, Quality Assurance, Emerging Technologies, Product, and Business Intelligence teams. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader, providing not only strategic vision and guidance, but also driving initiatives through his/her own technical abilities. He/she will oversee a modern, cloud-based technology stack that he/she will help to mature, focusing on security, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design and delivery of technical solutions from concept to implementation across a variety of areas, including but not limited to application development, data, and business intelligence
- Evaluate the company’s current technology landscape and determine a short and long-term roadmap
- Facilitate the transition from 3rd party vendors, ensuring continuity throughout the transition, and maintain that vendor relationship moving forward
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives and determine opportunities for IT solutions
- Make decisions regarding the selection of new tools and technologies, adopting a strategic approach that aligns with the long-term roadmap
- In the event of an acquisiton, oversee the integration and consolidation of environments and continue to optimize and standardize Imperative’s enterprise SDLC

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:
- Proven experience managing high-performing IT teams, primarily focused on delivering digital solutions in a cloud based environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- In depth knowledge of best practices for software development and system architecture
- Experience with budget management, capability analysis, and resource allocation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 12 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years of leadership experience in an enterprise environment
- Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile processes and methodologies.
