SUMMARY
The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile processes and ensure the successful delivery of projects across the entire Advanced Digital Technologies organization. Although a majority of the projects will be run using Agile methodologies, the Scrum Master should also be well-versed in other Project Management methodologies and use those to manage projects when appropriate. The Scrum Master will manage multiple projects simultaneously, performing Scrum ceremonies (daily stands-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives), as well as spend a lot of time in Jira setting up and managing the Scrum Board and helping teams get through their user stories.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, spring planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with Product Owners across the business to define and prioritize the product backlog
- Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and best practices
- Support the Project Manager by tracking and reporting on project progress and team performance
- Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time
- Communicate project goals, status updates, and challenges between external groups and the project team
- Proactively look for potential roadblocks, remove impediments, and resolve conflicts to keep the team on track

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:
- Extensive experience working in Jira, or similar project management tools, to manage sprint boards and track the team’s performance
- Proven ability to communicate technical and functional information across stakeholders, technical teams, and cross functional teams
- Excellent leadership skills, prioritizing the needs of the team and empowering them to make decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in an enterprise level environment
- Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile processes and methodologies
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification, preferred
