Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves performing various tasks to ensure the health and aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces, including residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will utilize both hand tools and power tools to execute landscaping projects effectively.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools for various landscaping activities, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
• Irrigate landscapes as needed, ensuring plants receive adequate water for optimal growth.
• Dig, plant, and maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping features.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues such as pests or diseases and implement appropriate solutions.
• Assist in the installation of irrigation systems and other landscape features as required.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to landscaping tasks.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Strong understanding of lawn care practices, including fertilization, aeration, and pest control methods.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in all landscaping projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.72 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
