Business Office Manager
POSITION SUMMARY :
Prescribes and adheres to the Villa Way of Kindness in all personal and professional interactions while on duty in and around the facility. Business Office Managers demonstrates great customer service by mentoring Villa’s three core principles of exceptional care, passionate services and unexpected luxury in all of her job duties and responsibilities.
The Business Office Manager is a key and visible department supervisor working directly with all residents, family and employees. The Business Office Manager is responsible for the timely input of information within the accounting systems at the nursing facility and those which interface with the home office. The Business Office Manager is directly involved in the maintenance of accurate and complete trust accounting records, census information, billing and resident accounts receivable statements, wages paid to employees’ payroll and invoice processing for the nursing facility. The Business Office Manager is the primary individual responsible for the timely collection of accounts receivable from all payor sources. Follows all Villa’s policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Census, Billing and Accounts Receivable
Collates census information from the nursing floors, ensures the accurate and timely reporting of the census in the Billing system and Census tracking system. Reconciles census on a daily basis to ensure accuracy.
Maintains trust account records.
Accurately codes, verifies goods and services rendered. Ensures all invoices are properly approved, copied for record purposes and batched / sent to home office in a timely manner.
Follows and adheres to Villa’s policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education :
High School diploma or equivalent.
Bachelors in finance preferred.
Experience :
Prior long term care bookkeeping experience required.
