We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Senior Billing Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process, supervising billing staff and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for our residential and commercial clients.

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Senior Billing Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process, supervising billing staff and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for our residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities Include
- Process monthly recurring and one time invoices
- Manage third party billing systems
- Onboard new clients into the accounting systems
- Maintain an up to date billing system for residential and commercial clients
- Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
- Assist with payment allocations to customer accounts
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Reconcile accounts for multiple locations
- Maintain accounts receivable customer files
- Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, checks and credit card payments.
- Assist with daily bank deposits
- Process adjustments on invoices
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Communicate with customers via phone, email and mail
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy
- Ensure customer invoicing is processed accurately and timely
- Reconcile billing reports to identify errors
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in billing or accounts receivable
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent data entry skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for both email and phone communications
- Results oriented with the ability to resolve challenges and emergencies efficiently
- Multi-task oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects at a time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer focused with a can-do approach to problem solving
- Proficiency in English
