Concrete Operations Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various hand tools and a strong understanding of construction materials and methods. As a Cutter, you will be responsible for accurately cutting materials according to specifications, ensuring quality and precision in every project. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and heavy equipment to cut materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Read and interpret estimates to determine cutting specifications.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for moving materials into position for cutting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on cutting equipment and work truck to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or a related field, with specific skills in concrete cutting, drilling, and concrete scanning if available.
• Proficiency in reading paperwork is essential.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting regularly.
• Familiarity with saws and drills for concrete cutting and drilling.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.20 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Nights as needed
• Weekends as needed
