The Warehouse Receiving Supervisor will be supporting the Operations Manager in improving daily warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to finish.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Ensure productivity targets are achieved and all warehouse processes are functioning smoothly and promptly
• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
• Plan work and assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
• Orient, coach and motivate employees
• Produce reports and statistics regularly
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
• Must maintain a culture of team spirit and motivate the employees
• Report to Warehouse Manager and assist with daily facility functions

Qualifications

You have:

• Proven work experience in a receiving management role
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Comfortable with ERP systems
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Safety Management, surveillance, and inventory control skills
• Excellent communication skills
