Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various destinations as well as helping in the warehouse. This is a vital role in our organization, and we are looking for reliable individuals who can handle the demands of the job.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Plan routes and ensure on-time deliveries
- Inspect vehicles before each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation guidelines
- Assisting warehouse team with orders, stocking, cleaning, etc...
- Operating a forklift
Skills:
- Valid driver's license
- Proven experience operating flatbeds, tractor-trailers, and heavy equipment
- Ability to safely load, secure, and unload various types of freight
- Proficient in operating vehicles with manual transmissions
- Excellent driving record with no accidents or violations
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- Ability to work independently and follow directions accurately
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
