We are seeking a motivated and dedicated person who is interested in joining our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for correctly sorting a variety of items from an order and packaging them appropriately for shipment to customers. This individual will be expected to follow both the verbal and written instructions of managers and supervisors, and must be able to think quickly on their feet and in stressful situations.
Responsibilities include:
- Fill bins every evening to be ready for next day
- Cutting metal pipe when needed
- Pull all pick tickets accurately and in order
- Palletize all deliveries and pick up orders
- Wrap skids when necessary
- Empty all trash DAILY into dumpster
- Clean warehouse DAILY
- Stock all bags/boxes for next day
- Stage all orders in proper location
- Forklift operator
- Load and offload trucks
- Refilling cradles if low
- Maintain outside cleanliness
- Helping customers if they need help
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Other items as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and order fulfillment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking orders
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and order tracking
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
