What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at Imperial Headwear?
Imperial is seeking an Account Manager to support Imperial’s business with supply chain global partners, such as Nike, Yeti, Adidas, Peter Millar, etc. This individual will monitor and manage processes from development to final shipment to the customer. Account Managers are the primary conduit between our customers and internal teams, requiring strong communication and organizational skills to build rapport with both customers and team members.
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000
Full Time
Location: (Hybrid 3x Days Onsite) Bourbon, Mo.
Travel: 5% (1 Annual Trip per Account)
What You’ll be Doing
- Serve as a sales resource and subject matter expert to production teams, distribution teams, sales teams, and leadership teams. Assist in developing custom solutions for brand partners.
- Act as a company liaison for top brand partners, providing continuous updates on order status, development, and program recommendations.
- Project sales budgets and production numbers.
- Assist in building and delivering polished sales presentations. Lead internal cross-functional meetings.
What We Need
- Strong customer service experience
- Intimate familiarity with graphic design and embroidery, particularly in headwear and apparel design; customer service experience
- Software Experience/Tools: Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are a must; familiarity with the Microsoft Suite, Gmail, and order entry software
- Apparel or headwear design experience is highly preferred
Ideal Characteristics:
- Outstanding customer service and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
- Passion for and understanding of the game of golf (preferred)
- A creative eye for custom logo decoration and knowledge of graphic formats (JPG, Vector)
