Quality Control Coordinator
Hours: 1st Shift

Position Description:
This position is responsible for following customer service issues as they relate to quality from the initial receipt, through final resolution, tracking, and cost assessment. This requires close work with all departments, as well as direct customer contact. To excel in this role, the candidate must be highly organized with excellent communication skills. Natural motivation, positive attitude/aptitude and an outstanding attention to detail are recommended.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality improvement activities and policies such as testing, data validation, conducting analysis.
- Validate quality process for repeatability and proficiency
- Assemble inspection and testing document packages for customers.
- Work with customers and third-party inspectors to identify and articulate necessary inspection and hold points to reach customers desired needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers experiencing quality issues in regards to warranty.
- Organize service technical requirements and needs for offsite inspections.
- Assist with Warranty claims and processing
- Coordinate inspection and testing plans
- Assist with weld testing, training and onboarding new hires
Requirements:
- Read and understand blueprints and complex fabrication plans.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Must have prior customer service experience.
- Dedication to the quality control process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work in a team environment and/or on an individual basis.
- Knowledge ASME pressure vessels a plus.
- AWS certification preferred
