What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transmission Reliability Operator position at Imperial Irrigation District?
Under general supervision, maintains continuity of service demands through generation, transmission and distribution lines and equipment; coordinates the safe restoration and maintenance of electrical services; implements and may modify plans and schedules to remove lines and equipment from service; operates the power SCADA and outage management systems; complies with Reserve Sharing Group contractual obligations, and complies with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Western Electricity Coordinating Council, (WECC) reliability standards and operating procedures and district operating policies, procedures, standards and requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Certification, BITO or RO and District Certification is required.
A valid driver's license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by the job posting deadline.
Salary : $109,760 - $140,096
