Imperial Surveillance is looking to add an Administrative Assistantto our Arlington Heights corporate office. Imperial Surveillance is a full-service licensed security company that specializes in Video Surveillance, Access Control, Alarm Systems, Fire Alarms, Intercoms, Cyber Solutions, and other Low Voltage Systems. Primary responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support which includes mass mailings with labels, scanning, copying, and other clerical duties.
- Support a multi-line phone with heavy incoming call volume.
- Answers and transfers phone calls, screening calls when necessary.
- Serves as the first point of contact for visitors entering our office - welcome and greet visitors.
- Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and stocked with necessary materials.
- Maintains record-keeping and filing systems.
- Additional tasks may be assigned depending on business needs at the discretion of the Office Manager.
- Occasionally work on special projects.
Qualifications/Skills required:
- Ability to remain professional at all times.
- Stable work history.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Previous experience with Accounts Payable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting Software, and other related software, including CRM.
- Dependable, friendly, and a highly motivated self-starter.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Very detailed oriented.
- Ability to work independently.
Pay:
- Starting at $19-$21/hr.
