We are looking for a skilled professional to fill our Interpreter role at Imperial Valley College. As an Interpreter, you will facilitate communication between students, faculty, staff, and community members who use American Sign Language (ASL) and those who do not.
Your primary responsibility will be to interpret in various settings, including classrooms, offices, and outside events. You will also assess each situation to determine the communication needs of Deaf or hard of hearing consumers and provide interpreting services accordingly.
