Title: Process Engineer

Imperial is seeking a Process Engineer responsible for analyzing and optimizing our production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance. This role involves working closely with our digital printing equipment, exploring market trends, and implementing data-driven solutions to improve our operations. The ideal candidate will bring an engineering mindset, an aptitude for problem-solving, and a commitment to innovation.
Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
Employment Type: Full Time.
Location: Onsite in Bourbon
Travel: Occasional travel to other plants (rare).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Evaluate and improve current production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Develop standards for production processes, focusing on digital printing equipment optimization.
- Research market trends, including competitor practices and available products, to inform process improvements.
- Build and maintain spreadsheets to analyze data and demonstrate findings.
- Test and monitor equipment usage, including the Vulcan machine and other digital printing tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all processes.
- Write detailed reports summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for leadership.
What We Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
- CAD (preferred).
- Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator (a plus).
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Excel or similar).
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus. Familiarity with apparel or printing processes is ideal but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Proficient in data analysis and spreadsheet management.
