Imperium Construction Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead high-end interior construction projects across New York City. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing fast-paced retail and commercial interior build-outs from start to finish. We are looking for individuals who take ownership, lead by example, and are committed to delivering quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Coordinate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants
- Lead subcontractor buyouts, contract administration, and change order management
- Create/Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and schedules
- Monitor budget performance, billing, and weekly financial updates
- Collaborate closely with field superintendents to ensure on-site execution aligns with project goals
- Conduct weekly OAC meetings and maintain consistent communication with stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing interior construction projects, preferably in retail or commercial spaces
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, processes, and project controls
- Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently while managing teams and resolving issues in real-time
