They are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Heavy Civil Estimator specializing in earthwork and utilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of projects, including site development, road construction, utility installations, and excavation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Perform quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, and related scopes of work.
- Research and source materials, subcontractors, and equipment pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine project scopes and budgets.
- Utilize estimating software to create detailed proposals and ensure accuracy.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and contract negotiations.
- Track market trends and adjust cost data to reflect current conditions.
