The Position:
A Structural Engineer with a heavy civil engineering emphasis who will have the following responsibilities:
- Review site requirements and work with engineering team and stakeholders to deliver complete civil-structural plans and/or recommendations.
- Engineer concrete, steel, and timber bridges, retaining walls, and earth-retention systems on roadway projects to relevant design and state codes
- Design foundations, slabs, and framing for commercial and industrial structures
- Model and refine piling systems from deep foundation to solar fields
- Complete structural plans and details required for project delivery within project schedule constraints
- Assist in responding to questions from contractors, public agencies and officials, or general public regarding policies, procedures, and practices
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned

The Ideal Professional:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field emphasis in Structural Engineering is preferred
- 6 – 15 years of work experience in Structural Engineering
- PE License is required, SE license is preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of heavy-civil structural theories and principles
- Prior experience working with computers and related software applications for analysis and design
- AutoCad knowledge is required, Revit, Civil 3D, Midas Civil, Risa 3D, Civiltech Shoring, and Civiltech AllPile are preferred
Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
