I’m working with a pharmaceutical manufacturing company who are on the lookout for a maintenance technicians to join their team in Danbury.

Summary of the position:
Installs, maintains, and repairs line manufacturing equipment. Identifies and diagnoses equipment failures, replaces faulty components, and conducts basic troubleshooting with the use of standard electronic tools, detailed drawings, diagrams, specifications, manuals, and both written and verbal instructions. Keeps accurate maintenance and repair logs. Utilizes a range of hand, power, and testing tools and equipment. Under supervision, may assist in redesigning optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems to integrate with existing manufacturing equipment. May also estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions when needed.
Essential duties:
· Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment.
· Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs.
· Work in one or more machine trades, including electrical, mechanical, or machining.
· Perform regular maintenance and repairs on equipment.
· Assist with the installation of new equipment.
· Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing equipment operations.
· Install new units or replace parts for existing units according to specifications and safety guidelines.
· Enter and maintain data in a computerized system.
· Support the Maintenance Department with general building maintenance tasks.
Experience required:
· HS Diploma
· 3 years or more of relevant experience
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in production maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
· Familiarity with cGMP procedures is preferred.
· Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and other industry guidelines.
· Experienced in calibration and preventive maintenance procedures.
· Proficient in managing and maintaining computer database programs.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
