What are the responsibilities and job description for the RF Regression Engineering Intern position at Impinj?
Team Overview:
The RF Regression system tests Impinj readers for compliance with the RAIN RFID protocol and regional regulatory requirements. We have an exciting opportunity to build a new site that’s easier for customers to use and find the data they need, and easier for our team to scale and extend its uses.
What you will do:
- Wire-framing UX designs
- Software design and tool selection
- Full-stack development working at the database, middleware and UI layers of the product
- Be part of a collaborative and successful team. Participate in standups, retrospectives and co-programming sessions
What you will bring:
- Working towards a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Hardware, Electrical Engineering or similar majors
- Energy, teamwork, focus, attention to detail and a passion for solving customer problems
- Full stack development experience
- Experience with JavaScript and one or more JS framework
- Experience with Python and Linux command line utilities

The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.
The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $26.00/hour - $36.00/hour. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
