Team Overview :
Our Enterprise Solutions team partners directly with specific named enterprise accounts and our partner ecosystem to sell the Impinj platform, our IoT solution extending the Internet’s reach from the cloud, through edge connectivity devices, all the way to physical items. Through a consultative sales process, our Enterprise Sales team uses the Impinj platform to deliver RAIN, our best-in-market products, capabilities, and technology to deliver solutions that address business needs.
Impinj is seeking a Solutions Engineer to serve as the primary, field-deployed, technical leader between Impinj and our customers and ecosystem partners abroad. Based remotely in Spain, the Solutions Engineer will provide product and portfolio training, sales support, design-in execution, solution support, onsite testing and debugging, and occasional embedded troubleshooting for customer deployments for Impinj’s RAIN RFID UHF short range communication readers, gateways, and embedded reader designs.
What You Will Do :
- Partner with our regional sales team to promote and raise awareness of Impinj Enterprise products at Impinj ecosystem partners throughout the territory
- Develop and implement solution strategies that solve significant business challenges for end users who can benefit from item-intelligence using Impinj’s RFID platform
- Provide end-to-end technical support to ecosystem partners industrializing new products based on our RAIN RFID Readers, Gateways and Reader ICs to include applying manufacturing best practices, providing onsite technical support regarding RFID, system testing, tag and inlay qualification and manufacturing, and endpoint software support
- Act as technical domain specialist for our regional customer and field sales and primarily liaison into Impinj for our ecosystem partners technical needs.
- Represent new customer requirements and market needs back to Impinj product management and engineering teams
- Provide in-region, real-time initiative-taking and reactive activities for Impinj EPIC, Reader, and SW as well as engage ecosystem partners to win
- Work with our Sales and Marketing team to build and display technology demonstrations or proof of concepts that showcases our RAIN RFID Enterprise capabilities
- Develop key technical contacts and relationships within the Enterprise ecosystem
- Facilitate multi-partner solution development initiatives
