We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and optimize our revenue cycle operations.
About the Role:
The Revenue Cycle Manager at Impireum will be responsible for the overall performance of the revenue cycle, from patient registration and billing to collections and denial management. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients' financial success and contribute to the growth of Impireum.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, including billing, coding, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and collections.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle performance, reduce days in accounts receivable, and minimize bad debt.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA and other industry standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of revenue cycle staff, providing training and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient revenue cycle operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with payers and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Prepare and present reports on revenue cycle performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
- Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10) and billing practices.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications such as Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) are a plus.
