About the Role
As a Business Development Support Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Senior Vice President of Client Relationship Management and driving our growth strategy. Your contributions will directly influence how we strengthen client relationships and expand our consulting engagements. This is more than a support role—it’s a chance to work collaboratively across teams, provide proactive insights, and make a direct impact on our business development efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Opportunity Management: Maintain a clear pipeline of business development opportunities, track progress, and ensure team follow-up actions are completed to support client expansion goals.
- Client Engagement: Facilitate a team of Account managers to maintain regular touchpoints with clients, capturing critical information, and documenting discussions.
- CRM Oversight: Own the day-to-day management of the CRM system, including account master data, contact ownership, and account classification. Ensure accurate entry of sales activities, client interactions, and actionable insights that will enable the SVP and broader team to grow Sales.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Account Managers and Functional Practice Leaders to brainstorm approaches, address hurdles in client expansion efforts, and nurture campaigns.
- Administrative Support: Assist with preparation for client meetings, scheduling meetings and coordinating follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders.
What Sets You Apart
- Education: Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Background in account management, sales support, or client-facing roles. Familiarity with consulting or professional services is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel, CRM platforms such as Copper (structure, data entry, workflow development, and reporting), and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior-level stakeholders.
