JOB OVERVIEW
Implicit US is a holistic marketing agency that helps businesses throughout the Finger Lakes region (and USA) connect with customers who value quality over convenience. We're seeking a Social Media Storyteller to join our growing team and help reveal the genuine craftsmanship behind our clients' work through engaging social media content and community management.
Unlike traditional social media roles focused on trends and metrics alone, this position centers on uncovering and sharing the genuine moments, values, and skill that make each of our clients unique. You'll work closely with our team to ensure social media feels like a natural extension of each client's in person feel rather than a separate marketing channel.
DUTIES
- Follow strategic content plans that align with each client's unique voice, values, and business objectives
- Create and schedule engaging content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Write thoughtful captions that reveal the story and skill behind each post
- Manage community engagement by responding to comments and messages in each client's authentic voice
- Capture and organize visual content during on-site client visits (when local)
- Monitor platform performance and understand meaningful insights to adjust content approach
- Prepare monthly performance reports that focus on engagement rather than vanity metrics
- Maintain organized content calendars for multiple clients simultaneously
- Collaborate with team members to guarantee social content aligns with broader marketing strategies
- Identify authentic storytelling opportunities within seemingly ordinary business operations
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience managing social media for brands or businesses
- Proficiency with social media management tools (Canva, Metricool, Edits, Meta Business Suite)
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different brand voices
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance measurement
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience capturing photos and videos for social content
- Basic graphic design and video editing capabilities
- Understanding of the Finger Lakes region and local business community
- Prior experience working directly with clients
- Experience with both B2B and B2C social media management
- Photography skills that capture authentic moments and emotion, not just staged shots
