Work with sales force in determining the appropriate Data Center solution for customers Provide pre-sales technical assessment, design, and development of a proposal and / or work with OEM for bill of materials for a solution Assist sales with customer facing meetings / calls to help gather requirements Guide customers on design scenarios; upgrade paths, product road maps, and industry best practices Stay current on industry technology trends through partner training and provide knowledge transfer to customers and team members Assist sales reps in creating quotes along with a clear outline of the benefits Deliver Technical presentations, demos, and assessments for customers Provide technical knowledge in design, configuration, performance optimization, maintenance, and capacity planning for an environment Identify and examine market trends and understand client security needs Design solutions and configurations proposals around customer budget and environment restrictions Provide strategic & tactical guidance to both sales teams and customers on current and proposed technical environments Qualifications :
7 years of hands-on experience in IT 4 years’ experience in a Sr. Engineer or Consultant role Multiple industry-recognized certifications, e.g., CCNP, CCIE, VCP, NCSIE, CISSP Required Skills :
Excellent customer service skills on phone and in person Ability to think and come up with multiple solutions to meet customer requirements Must be fully knowledgeable and able to design and plan, implement and support IT solutions using two or more of the following technologies : Storage Area Networks (SAN) Networking Backup Security Solid and proven customer-facing experience in a security pre-sales role Ability to translate business needs into technology specifications and recommendations Ability to provide technical knowledge in design, configuration, performance optimization, maintenance, and capacity planning for an environment Comfortable communicating to all levels of leadership Ability to provide pre-sales technical assessment Ability to converse about the state of the technology security market, trends, etc. Ability to identify how to solve problems and complete projects with minimal guidance Ability to self-study and pass required certifications Excellent organizational and time management skills Exceptional communication skills and ability to manage programs across cross-functional stakeholders Proactive, driven, and positive work attitude Strong organizational skills, self-starter, and ability to quickly identify and resolve inefficiencies High-energy, a positive attitude, and accountability Excellent customers service and support skills Excellent presentation skills Strong initiative and problem-solving skills High attention to detail Ability to multi-task and work in a high-paced environment Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet all deadlines Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Able to join sales in customer facing calls to help gather customer technical requirements Confidently advise customers on the latest product offerings with a good understanding of the supported features Ability to guide customers on technical scenarios; upgrade paths, product road maps, and industry best practices and services Ability to deliver trainings Please fill out the form fields provided and upload your resume to apply for this position.
