Imprimis Group is seeking an Associate Attorney with an interest in municipal and government law for a client in North Dallas. Our client is a firm specializing in governmental and municipal law across Texas with a personalized legal solutions approach.

Job Title : Associate Attorney – Municipal Law

Location : North Dallas / Richardson (Onsite)

Type : Direct Hire

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000 (plus discretionary bonuses)

Job Overview :

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join their dynamic law practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a broad range of municipal legal matters, including providing sound legal counsel and managing complex projects. The role requires both independent work and collaboration with senior attorneys on more challenging legal issues.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide legal advice and assistance on municipal law matters, including :

Public Information Act compliance

Contracts drafting and review

Labor and Employment matters

Litigation and court prosecution

Real Estate and Eminent Domain

Environmental and Land Use law

Municipal Finance

Constitutional law and statutory interpretation

Regulatory compliance and legal risk management

Conduct research, draft legal opinions, prepare pleadings, and represent clients in court or administrative hearings as needed

Qualifications :

Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Current and active bar admission in Texas

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a practicing attorney, preferably with direct municipal or government legal experience with proven trial and trial preparation experience

Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities

Hardworking, enjoys a challenge, strong written and oral communication skills

Strong technical acumen, acute attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills

A “self-starter” with the ability to work independently to manage competing priorities, adapts quickly and the ability to coordinate among a wide range of clients and internal stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits :

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, starting at $130,000 - $150,000 plus discretionary bonuses for individual and firm performance.
