The Role
We're seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our Summer 2025 Internship program, focusing on backend systems and our ledger infrastructure. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience building and optimizing the core components of our cutting-edge payment platform. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll contribute to the scalability, reliability, and performance of our backend systems.
Location
This role will be a hybrid work format, with time split between working remotely and working onsite from our New York HQ, 2-3 days a week as required by your manager.
What You'll Do
- Ledger Development : Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems that power our ledger platform.
- API Development : Build and enhance APIs that enable seamless data flow between our platform and partners.
- Data Integrity : Work on ensuring the accuracy, security, and reliability of financial transactions in the ledger system.
- Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high availability and scalability of backend services.
- Collaboration : Partner with the Engineering and Product teams to align on technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Debug and Monitor : Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and improving backend processes for enhanced system performance.
