Job Description: Improvix Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a Secret Clearance to oversee and manage IT projects for the Department of State Secretary of State's Office. The ideal candidate will have a fine mix of infrastructure expertise (VMware, Dell, Azure, AWS) and application development experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT projects for the Department of State Secretary of State's Office from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Manage project resources and allocate tasks effectively to team members.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and security requirements, especially regarding Secret Clearance.
- Provide regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Secret Clearance is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the IT industry.
- Strong background in infrastructure technologies, including VMware, Dell, Azure, and AWS.
- Experience in application development and deployment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite at the Department of State Secretary of State's Office 3 days a week.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
