POSITION OVERVIEW

Ensures the technicians complete tasks effectively and efficiently by maintaining detailed daily customer job records including labor hours, equipment, and materials used on each work ticket

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Handle various landscape materials such as plants, soil, mulch, gravel pavers, etc. as they pertain to each job
• Managing a crew of Technicians, including but not limited to providing direction, training and coaching
• Maintaining and operating various equipment including, riding, walk behind, and push mower; backpack blower, string trimmer, power edger and power sheers etc.
• Interacting with customers and supervisor
• Keeping accurate records of material and labor hours

TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
• Communicates with the operation leadership regarding crew members including both positive and negative feedback
• Oversees employee training and development
• Position may perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years landscape industry experience required
• Minimum of 1 years of leadership experience preferred

SKILLS AND QUAILIFACTIONS

• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks
• Knowledge of all phases of landscaping projects
• Ability to lead, develop, and mentor crew members
• Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail in all responsibilities and duties

• Outdoor conditions
• Extended work hours during peak seasons
• Requires substantial physical activity performing strenuous activities of a productive and technical nature; regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions of extreme heat and extreme cold; consistent exposure to loud noise; potential exposure to air pollution, allergens, dust, pollen, insects, and other potentially harmful naturally occurring hazards; continuous exposure to moving mechanical parts and sharp objects
