Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Specialist to manage and oversee all aspects of employment-based immigration processes, including H1B, OPT, CPT, and Green Card (GC) petitions. The ideal candidate will work closely with employees, attorneys, and HR teams to ensure compliance with U.S. immigration laws and policies. This is a fully onsite role in Princeton, NJ, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• H1B Visa Process Management:
• Manage the end-to-end H1B petition process, including new applications, transfers, and extensions.
• Ensure timely filing and compliance with USCIS regulations.
• OPT & CPT Compliance:
• Guide international students on OPT, CPT, and STEM OPT extensions.
• Ensure compliance with USCIS and SEVIS regulations.
• Work with recruiters and hiring managers to onboard OPT/CPT employees smoothly.
• Green Card (GC) Processing:
• Assist employees in PERM, I-140, and Adjustment of Status (I-485) processes.
• Coordinate with legal counsel for GC sponsorship cases.
• LCA & Compliance Management:
• Handle Labor Condition Applications (LCA) and ensure compliance with DOL regulations.
• Maintain public access files and audit records.
• Monitor visa expiration dates and proactively manage renewal processes.
• Liaison with Attorneys & Employees:
• Work closely with immigration attorneys, HR teams, and employees to facilitate smooth processing.
• Provide guidance to employees on visa options and sponsorship policies.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate immigration records and databases.
• Generate reports on visa status, renewals, and expirations.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in U.S. employment-based immigration, handling H1B, OPT, CPT, and GC processes.
• Strong knowledge of USCIS, DOL, and SEVIS regulations.
• Experience working with immigration attorneys and external vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Experience working in an IT consulting or staffing firm.
Work Schedule:
• Onsite, 5 days a week in Princeton, NJ
• Standard business hours (Monday – Friday)
