Location: Marietta, GA (100% Onsite - local only, no relocation)
Project Details:
The HR Technology Advisor is a global functional position responsible for enhancing, con guring, maintaining, and expanding the functionality of Workday HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Business Processes, and additional Workday functionality. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of Workday con guration, understand all solution components, how they inter-operate to support global business processes and has demonstrated strong project management skills. Will act as the liaison between the vendors, the business, and IT. Will be responsible for successfully delivering complex systems implementations. Executes system enhancements, including new functionality rollouts and modi cations of existing functionality and coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including test documentation and post-implementation support.
Documents processes via job aides and knowledge-based articles. Ensures that processes and procedures adhere to de ned audit and internal controls. Will act as an advisor and solutions architect to the team.
What You Will Do
- Manage new project/enhancement requests from initiation through post implementation support including con guration
- Collect and translate business process requirements into a functional solution design
- Partner with the integration team to ensure proper integration with functional con guration.
- Con gure Workday to meet the functional needs
- Prepare project deliverables including (but not limited to) project plans, process ows, functional requirements, and UAT test plans and test scripts
- Lead cross functional HR Technology projects through design and implementation Ongoing Support
- Preserve overall system health; regularly engage with HR Operations and the business to understand operational challenges and aid in root cause problem resolution
- Monitor health of module and drive continuous process improvements leveraging a clear understanding of local requirements (i.e. regulatory changes) and how they would impact the system
- Monitor Workday community for reported bugs, xes, and new enhancements relative to assigned modules
Skills and Experience Needed:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related eld.
- 5 years implementation and support experience with Workday and/or other related HR systems
- Be an expert in implementing and con guring Workday Core HCM and at least 2-3 of the following Recruiting, Onboarding, Bene ts, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, Talent Management, and Business Processes on a global scale.
- Well-developed leadership and project management capabilities with demonstrated success completing multiple cross-functional, cross-business, and cross-cultural projects.
- Proven ability to e ectively manage time and prioritize projects to meet established deadlines; must be able to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of problem solving, root cause analysis, and associated solution implementation.
- Self-starter with proven ability to anticipate problems and take proactive, decisive action, giving regard to the impact on the system, business needs and user population
- Solid understanding of software lifecycle development (SDLC) methodologies
- Familiar with data privacy and other regulatory requirements
