Sr. Software Engineer - Simulation

Description:

The BMS team is looking for an engineer who has a mix of skills covering controls algorithm, physical system modeling and software development and can develop and improve simulation tools for various battery products. You will be working with a cross-function team including algorithms, software, and system engineers.

Key qualifications:

• Strong coding skills in C/C , Python and Matlab
• Experienced with modeling and simulating basic electrical circuits
• Experienced with data analysis
• plotting, handling large data, converting data from format to another, reading/writing formatted data into tables etc.
• Familiar with web application development tools and making API calls
• Experienced in unit test, integration test and acceptance test s tool and development methodologies.
• Experienced in git-based version control system
• General understanding of control theory is a plus
• Ability to articulate problems and solutions clearly with documentation
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills

Education and Experience:

B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
