Compensation: The expected base hourly wage for this Minnesota-based position is $22-24. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Imricor’s summer internship program blends real-world experience with an extensive medical device industry overview in an innovative and fast-paced environment. Knowledgeable accounting professionals will provide guidance as you gain professional hands-on experience in all the facets required to bring a medical device to the market. This position is responsible for complying with the Quality System requirements and carrying out responsibilities as outlined in the environmental, health, and safety policies.

Responsibilities
- Assists in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and identify and investigate any discrepancies
- Assist with standard month-end closing procedures
- Assists with the half-year financial statement reviews and preparation of required financial reporting to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)
- Gains a working knowledge and a solid understanding of QuickBooks
- Comparing reports for accuracy and consistency
- Gathers data from our ERP system and organizes it for analysis by others within the organization
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting (junior or senior status is preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail including analytical and problem-solving skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to carry out all manners of tasks from the mundane to complex and challenging
- Light work, exerting up to 20 lbs. of force or less
- Requires clarity of vision at 20 inches or less (near vision) and the ability to identify/distinguish colors
- Requires fingering, repetitive motion, talking, and hearing
- Significant work pace & pressure due to deadlines
Salary : $22 - $24
