Quality Inspector
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing parts meet quality specifications.
Job Type: Full-time, 3rd shift 10:55 pm to 07:05 am
Work Location: In person (Gainesville, GA)
Responsibilities:
- Performing incoming goods inspection – IGI
- Performing measurements and visual inspections
- Performing quality tests on finished parts
- Performing various tests –i.e. durability test, push/pull test, climate test, motor performance test
- Recording inspection into quality system
- Production reporting
- Following International Automotive Task Force quality standards – IATF 16949
- Escalation of issues to manager
- Following Internal Quality Issues procedure – IQI
- Ensuring safety rules and policies are followed
- Housekeeping – 5S-Standard
- Other duties assigned
Education & Skills Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
- Good reading comprehension of work instructions
- Good ability to work in a team environment
- Good organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Basic understanding of metric system
- Basic math skills
- Basic knowledge of measurement devices
- Basic experience with quality systems
- Advanced computer skills
- Attendance and punctuality
