Job overview
The Machine Operators are responsible for the operation of the Metal Machines and ensures the quality of our metal parts.
Responsibilities
• Operating machines
• Loading and unloading machines
• Adjusting machine settings
• Ensuring proper maintenance of machines
• Cleaning of equipment and tools
• Performing measurements for quality control
• Quality inspection
• Production reporting
• Following International Automotive Task Force quality standards – IATF 16949
• Team Work – working in a Team to fulfill daily production goals
• Escalation of issues to supervisor and manager
• Following Internal Quality Issues procedure – IQI
• Ensuring First in – First out
• Ensuring safety rules and policies are followed
• Housekeeping – 5S-Standard
• Other duties assigned
Job Requirements
Education requirements
Work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment:
Minimum 1-2 years, desired 3 years or more

• Good reading comprehension of work instructions
• Good ability to work in a team environment
• Good organizational skills

• Basic mechanical background
• Good knowledge of metal cutting machines
• Basic ability to read schematics
• Basic understanding of metric system
• Good math skills
• Basic knowledge of measurement devices
• Basic computer skills
• Attendance and punctuality
Physical requirements
• Lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs.
• Pushing and Pulling up to 60 lbs. using material handling equipment
• Constant standing, walking, handling and using fingers
• Frequent bending and reaching outward
• Occasional reaching above shoulders, kneeling and squatting
