What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Analyst position at IMS MARKETING INC?
Duties will include navigating the claims paying systems in order to process electronically received claims, send initial participant information request letters, and forward more complex claims via the routing procedures. Other duties of this nature would be added as experience and knowledge increase. On the job training is provided.
This position is subject to production and quality assurance standards and would require up to six months of on the job training in order to achieve those standards. This is not a remote position, but could become a hybrid position after training and quality assurance standards are met.
Eligible applicants will be punctual, reliable, detail oriented and have the ability to work both unaccompanied, and in a team environment.
Medical terminology and medical billing experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills are required.
