Job Title: Network Engineer (Senior Voice Engineer)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 12 Months on W2
Description:
- The ideal candidate will have high attention for customer service.
- Follow change management procedures to mitigate production outages.
- Engage in projects and achieve completion in the required time-frame.
- They will architect and configure with security in mind, Maintaining vendors best practices.
- They will also work closely with LAN and WAN teams to optimize performance of the VOIP systems.
- They will work with vendors to open, troubleshoot and achieve a final resolution of tickets in a timely manner.
- Provide high level support for voice issues, working with tier 1 techs to troubleshoot and resolve tickets.
- The senior voice engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the voice system.
- The system includes currently 2 Cisco call manager clusters, Cisco Emergency respondr, and Unity voicemail systems globally.
- This role will ensure maximum up-time is achieved of the voice system for our end users (customers). Reliability is crucial.
- Monitor VOIP systems and be proactive of mitigating issues before the become widespread. Implementing and Maintaining a DR plan.

Education:
Bachelors degree is required.
CCNP Collaboration is preferred.
