Job Title: Material Handler/Inventory Specialist
Location: Hopkinton, MA (Onsite, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM)
Duration: 6 months

Summary:

• Responsible for shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management tasks to support production schedules and customer needs.
• Ensures accurate material handling, inventory transactions, and compliance with international shipping requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle materials safely with or without material handling equipment.
• Expedite parts for production and resolve material shortages.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage international shipping and compliance documentation.
• Address escalated inventory and shipping issues, providing input to management.
• Operate pallet jacks or forklifts as required (certification preferred).
• Ensure the accuracy of material transactions and routing through proper processes.
• Support production by monitoring material flow and resolving schedule interruptions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1–2 years in inventory management or a related field.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of inventory management and control software.
• Proficiency in shipping applications (e.g., FedEx, UPS).
• Knowledge of carrier shipping applications and compliance tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Other Requirements:

• Must have own transportation.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy items.
• Experience with international shipments and documentation.
