Position Summary
IMS is looking for a skilled and professional Driver/Warehouse Technician to join our team. This entry to mid-level position focuses on the safe and efficient transportation of audiovisual equipment for specialized events, with additional warehouse responsibilities when not driving. Serving as the face of IMS on the road, this role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Drivers will handle local routes as well as long-haul trips to destinations across the eastern United States, occasionally requiring overnight stays.

Position Accountabilities and Expectations:
- Safely drive and deliver audiovisual equipment across the eastern United States, including local, regional, and long-haul routes.
- Load, unload, pack, and secure audiovisual equipment to ensure safe transportation and delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Serve as a professional and courteous representative of IMS during deliveries, communicating effectively with clients and on-site teams.
- Collaborate with event managers and production teams to ensure deliveries meet project requirements and timelines.
- Assist in the warehouse with receiving, organizing, and basic maintenance of equipment when not driving.
- Support testing and basic configuration of audiovisual equipment to ensure readiness for events.
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of vehicles and warehouse spaces.
What You Will Bring
- A Class B CDL with a minimum of 5 years of clean driving experience.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- 1 years of experience in the Event Staging/Audio-Visual industry or equivalent warehouse/logistics experience.
- Ability to work independently on the road and collaboratively in the warehouse.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, overtime, and occasional overnight trips as required.
- Physical ability to lift to up to 50 lbs.
