The Digital Media Specialist will support our Event Staging Creative and Operational teams by managing the end-to-end post-production process, utilizing specialized software tools, and ensuring the secure handling and archival of all recorded media. Key responsibilities will be centered around the following critical activities, forecasting / resource management, project documentation, media / equipment management, inventory, quality control, content development / programming and workflow and process improvement. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, operational staff, and the Creative Director to ensure smooth workflows and timely delivery of projects. This position is expected to report to the Linwood Office for work and travel to client site when necessary.
Position Accountabilities and Expectations :
- Utilize FLEX rental software to forecast recording and post-production needs.
- Communicate effectively with project managers (PMs), technicians and video directors to clarify post-production requirements, recording processes, logistics, and deadlines.
- Maintain company tracking systems with relevant project information, including dates, scope, PM’s, representatives, and return logistics.
- Log and track all incoming records and the movement of recorded data.
- Collect incoming recordings from returning gear and manage the secure wipe and return of all recording media to inventory.
- Manage cloud-based platforms ensuring optimized use and archival.
- Continuous improvement of process efficiency working with warehouse supervisors and technicians.
- Execute all post-production and archival processes, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Maintain standards of excellence in relation to video and audio quality for delivery to clients.
- Identify and address on-site workflow and technical issues with production managers and develop methods to fix, improve or provide workarounds.
- Perform Level 2 quality control (QC) of all recording and streaming inventory to ensure high standards are maintained, client data is secure, and inventory maintained.
- Assist with Bright Sign and Pixel Flex programming and content development and deployment.
- Assist with content creation for IMS Marketing.
- Ability and willingness to travel to site to implement and deploy various projects.
- Collaborate with operations and the Creative Director on developing new processes and workflows related to new rental software and Box.com integration.
- Assist in the implementation of a NAS / Cloud server for remote office access and data management.
