Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Event Planning: Conceive, develop, and coordinate successful events that exceed client expectations and meet financial objectives.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate all activities and communications associated with event execution, ensuring timely, accurate, and on-budget completion.
- Budget Management: Create and manage budgets for multiple projects, tracking expenses and ensuring alignment with IMS standards and revenue levels.
- New Revenue Streams: Develop new revenue opportunities from existing accounts through digital services, specialty services, and other related sources.
- Client Relationship Management: Manage and grow client relationships by understanding future show/event information, cross-selling IMS Services, and responding to client concerns effectively.
Requirements:
- 5 Years of Experience: Event management experience supporting onsite event operations, preferably in a technology-related, client-driven professional services business.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in communications/marketing or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the live event audio-visual industry, with continuous learning of industry technology standards and company product knowledge.
- Sales and Leadership Skills: Proven track record of building and growing sales and profitability, with advanced account management, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
