Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney at IMUDIA LAW in Tampa, FL.
The Associate Attorney will:
· Prepare complaints/petitions
· Draft and prepare motions and memoranda for local and federal courts
· Schedule and/or calendar case-related matters and track deadlines
· Communicate with clients, experts, and witnesses
· Lead litigation related work of assigned cases – in house and in court
· Provide leadership in firm marketing and outreach related activities
· Participate in management meetings as may be required from time to time
· Learn effective use of the firm’s practice management software (including effective use of NOTES)
· Review monthly and quarterly performance report with the lead attorney
· Any other activities mandated by company management
Qualifications
- Legal Advice and Research skills
- Negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar in Florida
